The Zonai Engineering, Logistics and Development Association (Z.E.L.D.A), a new research group founded by some of the most brilliant engineers in /r/HyruleEngineering with the goal of pushing the boundaries of Hyrulean Science, is proud to announce: THE FIRST TRUE PERPETUAL AIRCRAFT IN HYRULE ENGINEERING HISTORY. This thing will fly forever. It consumes no battery, being powered entirely by Link. It uses no despawning parts whatsoever. You could fly around the whole map in a circle and beat the Light Dragon for speed. It has fantastic maneuverability, with a patent-pending Variable Ascension Rotor design that allows the pilot to control precisely whether they wish to ascend, fly straight or descend by simply adjusting the control stick. Get on the aircraft and it powers on and flies. Get off and it stops working. No more having to finagle with spinning capacitor banks or having to hold down your machine until they discharge so it doesn't take out on its own. Powering all of this is the Infinite Electricity Engine that took many days of experiments and research to develop. We've discovered no less than four ways of generating infinite electricity in this game, each with their own advantages and drawbacks. This design is the culmination of our progress and shows the potential this technology has to revolutionize Hyrule Engineering. From this day on, we no longer need to worry about battery usage, as long as you're using electric parts to power your aircraft.
